Here's a BBC headline that's sure to catch the eye, if only for the alternate ways it can be read: Victory In Dead Israeli Sperm Row.
So I read it, and it asks some interesting ethical questions, yada yada yada. But the truth is, I really can't get past the feeling that the whole situation is just vaguely... creepy. The science isn't really a big deal, but the human motivation behind using it makes my head hurt.
I mean, I'm old enough to understand the desire for grandchildren, but, uh... Hello, rabbi?

Dan, I've thought about this on the way into work, and I can't figure out why it's creepy, but I so totally agree with you. Something about it makes me cringe. I'm hoping someone will post and explain what makes me so wary of this.
