So we're back from our tour of the Deep South: 7 days, 6 states and plenty of gas ($3.17 a gallon in Alabama). I've taken some of my photographs and put them in a gallery. There was snow and cool architecture and plenty of new ideas and new friends. Check it out if you have time.

Fantastic shots, Janet! Great little view of a really good trip.....only I missed the stuff about the PEOPLE of TODAY you met in Miss. and Tenn.....next shots you share need to show us THOSE folks as well....I would bet you have those and they are as good as these were!

Uhm, I don't. I generally don't like to take photos of people. I can do portraits, especially when I want to document family and friends. But I don't really like to take what amount to snapshots of people I don't know well. Isn't that odd? It feels too forced to take them and they always seem too private to post.
