Name that pitch

FRIDAY 5: Fan's Guide to Spotting Baseball Pitches from Dan Conover on Vimeo.

You can get the whole thing over at my Friday5 blog, but here's the video I cut today on how to recognize five different baseball pitches.

Oh, and this week's cartoon contest features a geek action hero.

Towerweb Have at it, nerds. ;-)

Yo, Dan.....now I learned something I needed to know around here....and by reading your Friday blog realized you needed to know that too and that surprised me.....so now I know the pitches I never could understand and how to throw them....NOT that I will ever THROW them, but watching them with folks who DO know how to tell them apart makes it neat to at least know SOMETHING.....
Neat ... really neat ....and Riverdogs got publicity also and that is good!
AIN'T gonna comment on the geek tech rescuer, however! M

I will simply say: "I'm pleased that the nerd doesn't resemble me." :)
