Dan Conover co-founded the Manly Football League in the newsroom of The Mountaineer newspaper of Waynesville, N.C., in the summer of 1991. Five years later, Conover created one of the earliest fantasy football websites. launching the original MFL Online at Geocities.com in 1995. He has the second-highest victory total in league history and one of the worst winning percentages in Manly Bowl History, dammit.
When he isn't obsessing about football, Conover works as a reporter, columnist, photographer, cartoonist, blogger, game-maker, Photoshop artist and videographer/filmmaker in Charleston, SC.He is the creator of the blogs Spoletoblog (now Spoleto Today) Xark, Conover on Media, Lowcountry Blogs, Friday 5, Fun & Games and The New Church of Football (Reformed).
